We at Ficus work with Public and Private Schools in Chennai towards facilitating environment education programs for children involving nature and art- based learning.

By fostering a love for artistic expression and the natural world, and using the approaches of the Universal Design of Learning (UDL), we work in ensuring no student is left behind in the classroom.

Our approach combines school curricular education with the myths and mysteries of the natural world, using a plethora of activities which helps students make sense of what they are reading in their textbooks, in relation to the world around them. Through our nature and art programs, we empower students to explore and ask questions, while developing essential communication skills required to express their unique points of view. By blending education with environmental sensitivity, we help create the necessary conditions to nourish a deeper connection between learning and the world we inhabit.
